| From the Steepandcheap.com weekly email
"Say what you want about Hummers, I drove one a few days ago and it was fun. I think that if I had one, I would carefully line up a bunch of traffic barrels in a slalom course, and then put up a couple traffic barricades right before a gap dirt jump. Instead of weaving around the cones and barricaedes, I would just run it all over as fast as I could and then call the police from my cell phone to report that my Hummer had been stolen. Then I would take the insurance money and buy a hybrid so I could yell at people every time I saw them driving a "gas guzzler."
oh. and i'm getting married in 6 days. |

| To recap this year:
I've learned alot. Studying under the tutelage of Mike Powell (tutelage - what a great word!) and John Rojak has been amazing and has done incredible things for my playing. I've learned that it doesn't matter where you go - you'll always have to deal with douchebag conductors and peers. I've learned that you can be largely impacted, and have impact on people, in a fairly short amount of time. I've learned how hard it is to be focused on God when no one else around you is. I've also learned that people respect you if you are (not always, but in my experience if they don't, it makes it easier to be...heh.) I've learned that planning a wedding is more stressful and expensive than I thought it would be. I've learned that if someone wants to give you a gift, don't question the motive, just say thanks. I've learned that life isn't always peaches and cream, but when it is - eat it up. I've learned that it's hard to get rid of junk, but that I feel great when it's gone. I've learned what it's like to live with girls my age, should help with marriage I've learned how great it feels to re-connect with people that you haven't seen or spoken with in years. I've learned that God freely gives. I've learned that I really like being at Rutgers and am sad to leave, but unbelievably excited about being with my one and only. I've learned that even though I like Rutgers, I don't like New Jersey. I've learned that I like Philly better than NYC. I've learned that going back to basics tends to solve a TON of problems in many areas of life. I've learned that loving unconditionally is a challenge that is worth overcoming.
I've also learned that I can be creative with Joshua's "caption this" photos.
